Bonfida remains bullish during the bear market. Market conditions have seen better days and so the ecosystem seems to slow down. Here, we have put our heads down and have had a beeline focus on building and enhancing the overall experience for our community.

During the last two months we have completed a whole redesign of the Solana Name Service website, continued growing our integrations with standout projects, launched the Bonfida Wolves NFT collection and obviously are always building and improving.

Solana Name Service Website Redesign
It has been an exciting time for the team as we were preparing for the launch of our new UI. With an eye on creating a seamless shopping experience, adopting new users and creating an overall fresher look, we have made some major changes.
Introducing shopping carts to group your purchases, updating processes for a “one-click solution”, adapting layouts of all pages and many smaller valuable changes are guaranteed to make this a fun and easy experience.

The Launch of the Bonfida Wolves NFT Collection
Together with Burnt Finance we launched our very own Bonfida Wolves collection. 3,333 carefully curated wolves, with over 100 traits were all minted under 2 hours! All sale proceeds will be reinvested into the Wolves community to ensure the growth of the ecosystem.
Holders of these Wolves are subject to special perks at Bonfida, including exclusive merch (coming soon!), a gated community, access to IRL events and more. We are super excited to have an official wolves community, where no wolf will be left behind!

4EVERLAND: The First Grant Approval
Our first grant proposal got approved for 4EVERLAND. Their Web 3.0 cloud computing platform has integrated SNS to provide domain name owners with a one-stop SNS + IPFS website hosting service. Innovative and exciting integrations like these deserve to be rewarded and 4EVERLAND really set the bar high.

$FIDA listings continue to grow with the newest addition of Kraken US and Canada. Including Kraken, our token is currently listed on all major exchanges.
New Partnership Announcement with Notifi and Only1
What about a comprehensive messaging application framework for Solana? Well, look no more - this partnership will deliver exactly this.
Jabber, Solana’s first on-chain messaging application was launched by us in November last year. An application used to send encrypted messages on chain in a fully trustless/decentralized manner will now evolve with this partnership.
Soon we will release an open standard framework for a Web3 Chat, that is on-chain, off-chain and possibly cross-chain! Thus, reducing entry barriers, making mass adoption possible & simplifying the integration process for any ecosystem projects.
Together with Notifi and Only1 we could have the next messaging standard for Solana on our hands!
Discord is Back
We are excited to announce that we are back on Discord! Join our server to get support, updates on the latest announcements and events as well as gated communities for Solana name service holders and Bonfida Wolves.
Integrations
SolanaFM, Dialect, PocketPay and Salmon Wallet integrates SNS
SolanaFM partners with us to allow direct lookup for addresses via your .sol domain names. Currently, they are one of the 3 explorer options available to inspect addresses and transactions on the Solana Name Service site. This partnership is merely in its infantile stage and many more exciting things are on their way.
Salmon Wallet & PocketPay are the newest additions to our wallet family. Use their wallets to easily send and receive funds via .sol domain names and/or registered Twitter handles.
Dialect, an open-source tooling for dynamic dApp notifications and wallet-to-wallet chats, successfully completed integrating SNS. Easily send messages to and from .sol domain names instead of long public keys using their platform.
Developments
Additional Language Options for the Solana Name Service
All unicodes for Chinese, Japanese and Russian languages are now supported on the Solana Name Service site. Register domains in any of these languages with ease. A few things to note: (1) you can only type the language character once the option has been selected from the dropdown menu (2) you cannot combine different language characters. For example, domain names can only be pure Russian and not a Russian/Chinese mix.
Records Section for Domain Names
We have a brand new Record section for your Solana domains! In addition to typical DNS records (A, AAAA, TXT, MX, etc.), the Solana Name Service introduces more web3-specific types.

Solana Name Service Growth
In early June we hit a staggering 170K domain names registered. The Solana Name Service continues to grow with nearly 177K in the ecosystem; 180K we’ll see you soon. Twitter handles registered are almost at 80K having 47,630K linked already.
Monthly Buy & Burn
The highest buy & burn by quantity ever was documented for the month of June! A total of 154,586 $FIDA was burned at an approximate USD value of $55,265. 10% of these rewards are distributed to our on-chain stakers.
