Another recap on the month’s happenings. We’ve increased support for the Solana Name Service across a range of projects, launched xMS together with Notifi & Only1, got listed on another exchange and obviously continued refining our services.
Here’s what we’ve been up to
Relation labs, a cross-chain social graph, made stead on integrating .sol domain names to serve as your metaverse ID on their platform. We’ve been seeing a rise in the adoption of domain names in SocialFI projects and to be frank it makes complete sense. Just because it is web3 doesn’t mean you need to remain unidentifiable. There’s a need for identity whether decentralized or not.
It’s a great honor to finally launch xMS: Cross Messaging Service. A messaging standard to be interoperable and accessible no matter whether it is on or off-chain. It has the main goal of consolidating communication for web3. We started off with a few select partners and their communities to test our beta. As of then, we’ve been expanding the xMS community by announcing Open Chat Alliance members and increasing access to their users.
You can read all about xMS here.
We made it. Our website redesign is almost fully complete. It has been an incredibly fun process to improve the site for our users and newcomers! The latest updates included the staking, buy & burn and Bonfida swap section. The next steps you can look forward to being a revamp of token vesting and an exhaustive notification system.
It's been a treat to partner with Wordcel to giveaway Solana domain names and invite users to Wordcel's Mainnet Beta. The plan is to onboard some of the best writers on Solana, read their work on-chain and get to know them via your .sol
Keep an eye on Wordcel’s Twitter account for the latest campaign.
This month we have further expanded $FIDA listings with CoinDCX exchange. With their addition, totaling a number of 13 reputable exchanges for our token.
Two multi-chain wallets, Trust and Neko Wallet have integrated the Solana Name Service. With so many esteemed wallets in our ecosystem, we want to be sure to onboard as many of them, give users the best choice options on our site and ease of use of transacting using the Solana Name Service.
This month we announced a really exciting partnership with Point Network which will be the first to permit native browser support for the Solana Name Service. This'll allow websites to be deployed to a .sol domain name and rendered in Point Browser. Thus, creating a fully decentralized website with storage backed up on Arweave permaweb.
More details to come soon, get ready!
The Solana Name Service site supports almost all services in bulk. At times, completing tasks one at a time can be tedious. To circumvent this we have developed bulk sell, bulk transfer, bulk search and bulk claim & cancel.
As web3 evolves, so do we. It’s no secret that Solana Pay has been a big player in pushing adoption for our ecosystem. Therefore, it was a no-brainer to add this payment method to our site. Payments for domains have never been as simple as scanning a QR code.
New registrations are up by almost 3K this month continuing the steady growth of domains. Linked Twitter handles are nearing the 50K mark with a total of 48K registered.
We have had some exceptional burns for the last three months; all of them over 150K $FIDA burned.
That’s a wrap on this month’s exclusive. One thing is for sure; we’ll continue making moves whilst having the community at heart.
See you next time, stay safe and take care.
