The top three sales all came out of the 999 club for the week. Maybe it’s time to get yours?

Limited Edition Cards

The Easter holiday passed over the weekend. From the Bonfida team, we wish you had a blessed time with your loved ones. We launched yet another round of limited-edition domain name cards to celebrate the holiday. As always, these need to have been wrapped or rewrapped for the cards to stay post-holiday.

Brave x Solana Name Service

This week we announced one of our proudest integrations to date. Brave Browser has completed a full-suite integration of the Solana Name Service. This includes Brave Wallet (sending and receiving funds with your .sol domain name) as well as native browser support. Where native browser support means you are able to type a domain name in their URL tab to direct you to a website.

It’s a true honor to partner with well-renowned projects like Brave. This helps us establish SNS as one of the best decentralized domain name options.

Read about the how-to guide and the integration here.

Hodlezz Integration

Hodlezz has integrated the Solana name service to serve as a connector to their portfolio platform. Now, you can use any .sol domain name to see data aggregated from its activity. It’s great to see another partner opting for efficiency for their users with memorable, human-readable addresses!

Hodlezz has also created a special Alpha pass for all SNS domain name sign-ups. Use the link presented in our Discord to obtain their special perks.

Developments

Mutli-token registrations

Some tweaks to the SNS smart contract brought along our exciting new development; multiple token registrations for domain names. Herewith .sol names are registrable in a choice of tokens including, USDC, USDT, SOL, mSOL & FIDA. Where FIDA permits a 5% discount for all registrations.

We’re happy to add more high in demand tokens when it makes sense. Feel free to suggest if there are some must-haves needed on the list.

SNS refactoring

It was promised to offer a little more detail on the refactoring of SNS Collectors for our technically orientated crowd. Essentially, it’s the part of SNS Optics that collects and aggregates data for anything SNS related, from the latest sales to current owners. Refactoring the collectors stabilized this API and allows for almost real-time updates on our website, which is especially important since we rely fully on the blockchain. As we know, compensation for using the blockchain as the source of truth is unfortunately speed.

It’s easy to say that this is the result but not always as easy to understand the deep digging involved to bring this about. So, have a read of what has to go on in the background to bring about this seemingly easy change here.
